Don't call it a comeback... Last time I said I'd start doing these daily I lasted two whole days. How many days to make a habit? Is it twenty-one? Not holding my breath... you shouldn't either.
YAY: We're doing pretty well on ticket sales for the concert coming to our church next week. There are still plenty of seats left though: http://www.riveroflifeconcerts.org/. Aaron Shust with Downhere, Laura Story and the Marty Ford Experience. Can't beat that.... AND if you pre-order your ticket the MFE folks will give you a FREE CD! Can you beat that? Um, no!
YAY: I love my wife! Miranda is my best friend and I truly don't know how I would get through life without her. I don't know what I would be doing if I did not have her.... Wait, yes I do... Eating snack cakes watching day-time TV at mom and dad's house before my evening shift at the Citgo (not that there's anything wrong with working there!).
NAY: Alex waking up in the middle of the night is starting to affect me. Doesn't matter if it is me or Miranda that gets up with him.... I'm never coherent in the middle of the night as it is. Add in a kid crying and not going back to sleep easily and its utter chaos.
NAY: This weather is driving me nuts. Warm/cold... Sunny, 75 and 90 mph winds...

Yay/Nay of the Day for 11/21-11/23
Yay: Maleah and Alex took FANTASTIC pictures this weekend. It was a world of difference from last year's ordeal with Maleah. This is a picture from their awesome photo session!Yay: Good football weekend. Buckeyes beat Michigan and the Browns have a pulse. I'm glad they lost because a) I don't want Brady Quinn being a hero, b) they didn't deserve it, and c) we get a higher draft pick if we lose out. :)
Yay: Both of my fantasy football teams did well, but....
Nay: I don't like playing Miranda. I always want her to do well and it is hard to be the one that does well against her. Not bragging at all... she beat me down last time we played. :)
Nay: I've let the entire fall season go by and have only eaten ONE pumpkin pie blizzard from Dairy Queen. I'm so ashamed!

Yay/Nay of the Day for 11/20
Yay: The Buckeyes are going to the Rose Bowl, but we have to stop by Ann Arbor to exterminate some Wolverines first. That's always fun to watch!
Yay: We have ALL of our Christmas decorations up! Inside and out! I just love Christmas.... and before you make a comment, no it is not too early! :)
Yay: I love Brownie the Elf (pictured left). My favorite sports logo. Here's a little background for you. As if you care. :)
Nay: The Senate is trying to rush to a vote tomorrow on the horrible Health Care bill that Harry Reid has presented. In addition to an estimated cost of $849 billion over ten years (it is actually $2.5 trillion when they include the first 4 years of the plan) the bill in its current form will pay for abortions. This is after the House version included an amendment to completely ban federal funds from paying for abortions (see: Stupak/Pitts Amendment).

Yay/Nay for 12/1-12/2
Yay: We had a daddy/daughter Saturday morning. Miranda went shopping with her friend Jaclyn (Maleah called her 'Jat' trying to call her Jack) and we stayed home and played. She had her bottle late and took an almost 2 hour long nap while daddy....
Yay: ....installed Windows XP. G'bye Vista. I couldn't stand that piece of junk. Made everything run slower and it crashed all of the time. Everything is running so much quicker now.
Yay: The Singing Christmas Tree was a huge hit! :) We performed our last time last night and it was great. Packed house. We had higher attendance this year than we've had in the last three years we've done it. The problem is....
Nay: ....its over. Miranda and I had so much fun and it is sad to not be doing it tonight. We're glad we get to spend more time with Maleah, but we will miss it!
Nay: Sloshin' in a Winter Swamp Land! Not as catchy as the original. The snow melted and it rained in near Noah-like proportions and our front yard was a mess. I actually saw a duck in a boat paddling by...why he needed a boat is beyond me.

Yay/Nay Weekend Dec. 1 & 2
I'd Previously written a series of posts entitled "Yay/Nay of the Day". They replaced my 3BT posts at one point. Then this blog died and I birthed a new one. Then this one came back to life and so did 3BT. Not sure why.... I personally liked the Yay/Nay so I will be doing one Yay Nay post for the weekends along with my 3BT.
Yay: The Bucks are #1. Say what you will about why they are there, but they are there. Seven of the 11 Big Ten schools got a bowl game. Yeah...and the Big Ten Sucks.
Yay: Miranda got to spend the week home with Maleah....
Nay: but it was over too soon it for both of them.
Nay: You, if you are thinking of debating OSU football on my blog.

Yay/Nay for 10/2/07 Marks 300th Post!
Yay: My 300th Post! It took me awhile to get here, but I made it. Thank you to everyone who have continued to frequent my site. If it weren't for you I would just be journaling...and that's for girls.
Yay: I did end up winning both of my fantasy football games. One of them handily, the other barely. Chad Johnson was projected to have a great game. He did not. I needed AT LEAST 50 yards out of him. He got 51. Phew.
Yay: Miranda's blog today. It was really funny. I needed that this morning.
No Nays today! No negativity on my 300th post!

Yay/Nay of the Day for 10/1/07
I was working on our front room all day Friday so I didn't get to the computer to do my Yay/Nay.
Yay: We completed a lot of the front room this weekend. All but one full panel and two smaller panels of drywall are left and we'll have that part done. After that it is the taping, putting on the putty, sanding, priming, painting, putting up the new door, and putting up the ceiling fan. Other than that we're almost done!
Yay: Both of my fantasy football teams will probably win. I am waiting on one player to play in both leagues in Monday Night Football. Even more importantly...
Yay: The Browns and the Buckeyes won. Not very often I get to say that! With the Steelers losing yesterday that means the Browns are currently alone in 2nd place and just 1 game back! Also, four teams that were ahead of the Buckeyes in the Polls lost. That moved OSU all of the way up to #4 in the nation. Go Bucks!
Nay: CNN aired a series last week entitled "God Warriors". It basically said that both Christians and Jews are comparable to radial muslims. Religion was also portrayed as a vehicle for death and destruction. If that is not the message of the atheists, I don't know what is. Sick.

Yay/Nay of the Day for 9/27/07
Yay: Working on the front room. I have wonderful family members that are sacrificing their time to help us. Hopefully that translates to having a completed room sometime this week. :)
Yay: Season Premiere of the Office tonight. Enough said.
Nay: Writing this Yay/Nay. I'm not in a "blogger place" right now. Didn't feel like doing it, but here I am anyway. Not sure why.

Yay/Nay of the Day for 9/26/07
Yay: Lasagna for lunch. Simple things make me happy.
Yay: New blog posts from a few "missing" bloggers. Miranda is currently missing too. She'll be next.
Yay: My favorite teacher from Huntington High School, Mr. Curtis, has a podcast. It is actually pretty funny. It took me way back. I became nostalgic. Then a little nauseous thinking about homework. Go to the Huntington Podcast page and it is listed under "Chemistry/Physics".
Nay: I got drywall rash. Doesn't that sound like a disease?
Nay: Drama. People (myself definately included) are too dramatic. Why are you so dramatic people? I think your drama has caused me to want to grab a garden hose and hold it to my ear...turning it on and flushing out all of the stupid stuff people say...then I will use it as brain floss - pulling it through one ear and out the other....what was I saying? Oh yeah, people are so dramatic.

Yay/Nay of the Day for 9/25/07
Yay: Realizing God is in control. I need to just remember that. I read over some of my long term "goals" that I wrote out a couple years ago and realized that I can be...self focused to put it nicely. Some of them were funny though. Why am I not on the banquet circuit by now?
Yay: Soothing Maleah. Usually I don't do that great of a job consoling her, but last night was different. She was crying one of those inconsolable cries. So I held her and brushed her face with my hand and she fell back asleep. I can't believe she's really ours.
Nay: Lack of support for our troops. You may not agree with the war and why we're there. However, we are there. These are courageous men and women and should be given proper respect; regardless of political affiliation.
Nay: Having to play Dan in fantasy football this week. I got an awesome upgrade at QB, but I felt good going into last week and was dealt my first lost by a win-less team.

Yay/Nay of the Day 9/24/07
Yay: The Buckeyes won big this weekend. It was fun to watch. Also, Derek Anderson had a pretty good game for the Browns so that means no Brady Quinn...yet.
Yay: I have a dentist appointment tomorrow. Why yay? It is just a cleaning and I find it relaxing. As long as there is no needles it is fairly enjoyable.
Nay: Maleah was up all night. That's more of a nay for her than anything else - even though that meant Miranda and I kept having to get up too. She's teething so she's hurting pretty bad. Poor baby.
Nay: The Browns lost on a last second field goal, both of my fantasy football teams lost and my goldfish died. I don't actually own a goldfish, but if I did it he would've been doing the porcelain swirl right now.

Nay: I lied to you - my faithful blog reading friends. I didn't get to upload Maleah's pictures. I will do it tonight (actual time may vary and some restrictions may apply).

Yay/Nay of the Weekend for 9/21-9/23
Yay: Working for the weekend. Miranda's home with Maleah and I'm working like a chump (currently on a break for those that may wonder). It will be over soon and I get to see my girls! Woo hoo!
Yay: We got Maleah's 8 month pictures back. I promise with everything in me that I'll get them uploaded this weekend, or my name isn't Evan Tre... I'll refrain.
Yay: Plans are being made to finally redo the front room. It will be really nice looking and hopefully will help with the temperature fluctation in that room.
Nay: No love from Annie on the Yay/Nay. Why y'all hav'ta be hatin' on my blog? Is "hav'ta" acceptable as a word?
Nay: Still don't like dogs. I can tolerate some of the dogs some of the time. You can lead a dog to water, but you can't stop him from eating his own poop (or a deer's poop in Buddy's case).

Yay/Nay of the Day for 9/20/07
Yay: Maleah had her 8 month photos taken by Butch last night. She didn't smile a bunch, but I still think a few of them will turn out really well. She was adorable, but too energetic to sit still.
Yay: I was able to listen to the new Casting Crowns cd today. I love that group. Every single one of their songs have an amazing message. I love that they serve God whole-heartedly. East to West, Altar and the Door, and Every Man are just a few of the great songs off this CD.
Nay: Where are Maleah's pictures? I can actually hear you thinking it? If you weren't thinking it, you are now. If you aren't now you probably don't care. Either way we have been so busy with full time jobs, a baby, church obligations, etc. I know...no excuse!
Nay: OJ Simpson and Brittney Spears. Two people that need to embrace God's love and forgiveness. I don't know why they both continue to do things that destructive to their lives and/or careers. They're just sad.
