I'm sure everyone heard about the Denny's Grand Slam Giveaway on February 3rd. I wasn't close to a Denny's (Come to Chillicothe please!), but many were; TWO MILLION to be exact! Denny's did not just give out food, however. They also passed out a little bit of hope that things will get better.
Denny's received nearly 35,000 emails thanking them for thinking of their customer's in a time where we need it the most.
One customer said, “I lost my job. You’ve restored a razor-thin slice of my belief that this country can be saved. Kudos, Denny’s.”
“I’ve never seen anything like it before,” said Denny’s CEO Nelson Marchioli. “It changed our brand - it changed our company.”
