1. A nickel's worth of free advice - and other sayings. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Kill two birds with one stone. Anything worth doing is worth doing well. A fool and his money are soon parted. A stitch in time saves nine. If life deals you lemons, make lemonade (or pickles). Oye, with the Poodles already!
2. Two month baby appointment. She had needles poked in both of her legs. She screamed and screamed. Then she relaxed in Miranda's arms and fell asleep. We feel closer to Maleah today more than we ever have.
3. My "Jesus Knocking at Your Heart's Door" statue. It is only a few inches wide and a few tall, but it has Jesus knocking at a door with the words, "If any man should hear my voice, and I open the door, I shall come to him". I bought one of these 3 or 4 years ago from the now departed Craft Mall. On my last day of work at CBCS I gave it to a coworker who had recently got saved. Then at Emmaus I received it one night as a gift. It warmed my heart and now it sits on my monitor at work so I can see it everyday.
The grass is always greener on the other side....:)
