Do you like caffeinated beverages? Have you tried the Crystal Light "Energy" packets for your water? It now comes in a premixed, 4 pack! I found this at Walgreens for $3.99!Consider the pro/con price breakdown:
At Wal-Mart
Individual packets are 19.8 cents each. (when bought in a 10 pack for $1.98)
Water bottles are anywhere from 15 to 20 cents a piece (when bought in a 24 pack)
Total: 35 to 40 cents per bottle. The new pre-mixed are about 60 cents more per bottle.
Note: If you buy packets from Kroger they are usually $2.00 higher. Factor that into the price and you get 55 to 60 cents a bottle!
Here's another breakdown:
Buy an individual bottle of water - 79 cents to $1.39
Buy an individual crystal light packet - 50 cents
Total: $1.29 to $1.89. Well above the 4 pack price! :)
Though convenient, buying 24 packs of water and individual packets of flavor is the better choice! I just thought they were cool! :)
Flavor Update:
The pre-mixed bottles are sweeter and less tart than the packets. For me this is a deal breaker. I love the tart punch of the packet!
STOP GOING TO WALGREENS...if you would transfer everything to CVS then you could see ME :)
ReplyDeleteI don't have any prescriptions at Walgreens. I just get my photos there because it is right across the street.
ReplyDeleteSO?!?!?!?!?!?!? We do pictures too..and its right across the parking lot ...so ... :P ....but i guess if i get this job at childrens i'll be telling you to bring them up there because its right up the road....but that wouldnt make sense.... (i just woke up)
