3BT for 3/9/07

1. Taylor Hicks CD is bombing. Currently he is on pace to be the first American Idol winner to not sell a million copies. That is less than Reuben Studdard. He he.

2. Weather maps and inaccurate forecasts. I love to watch as rain, snow, etc. comes toward your city, but then changes directions and barely misses you. I also love it when the weather guy predicts rain and the day ends up being beautifully sunny.

3. Candy we ate as kids. I went to Walgreen's yesterday and I saw a pack of Fruit Stripes gum! That's a blast from the past. Remember the wax bottles with the juice in them? Then there was the was lips! Remember candy buttons on paper - which always stuck to the back of the candy? Oh, and where did the candy cigarettes go? Actually that is probably a good thing. Post your favorite old candy on my comments page!

  1. The wax bottles were the awesome possum!!! And I don't know why, 'cos they were downright nasty!
The best-ever kids gum was Bubble Tape; you could absolutely stuff your mouth with it. We were never allowed to have it.

  2. Miranda and I thank-you for your gift of the wax juice sticks candy things. They taste like melted popsicles!
